Now, we can’t exactly say that we’ve ever associated the words ‘puppies’ and ‘relaxing’ with one another (those who have owned puppies before will know why) but what we can say is that we certainly do associate the words ‘puppies’ and ‘happiness’ with each other.
Launching in Leeds after comprehensible success in Liverpool, Puppy Yoga Leeds is set to bring 1 hour and 20 minutes of pure joy to our lives over the summer months, with numerous sessions planned for dog lovers to enjoy.
Promising a ‘boost of serotonin, as well as improved mental and physical health’, Puppy Yoga is the perfect fitness class for those who fancy something different (or those who need a kick up the backside to get started), with not only puppies roaming around the room while you stretch and contort, but dedicated playtime after the session, too.
Each class will see puppies aged between 7-14 weeks in attendance – who guests will get to play with, cuddle and take selfies with – while raising vital funds for animal charities such as Dogs Trust and mental health charities such as Papyrus and Pets As Therapy.
Following a hit session earlier this month in Leeds (their first in the city), Puppy Yoga has a string of other events up their sleeves, with more to be revealed soon. Venues are kept secret from the general public, however, each session takes place within a ten-minute radius of the city centre.
To keep up with August and September events, stay tuned over on their Instagram page here. The event also takes place in Liverpool and Manchester, with events taking place most weekends.
