What is a candlelit sound bath?
Basically, Mindful Glow is a guided therapeutic session, where guests lie down and immerse themselves in a relaxing atmosphere created by the lights of hundreds of candles and calming sound waves. By using Tibetan and crystal bowls, tuning forks, shamanic drumming, percussion instruments and voice, an experienced practitioner will create a harmonious ambiance and guide you through your meditative state.
Sound baths are thought to help with stress reduction and emotional balance, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed after the 60-minute session. For this reason, Mindful Glow is perfect for anyone looking to find a moment for themselves and focus on their overall well-being. Simply breathe in and breathe out.
Whether you’re new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, Mindful Glow offers a unique opportunity to disconnect from the daily pressures and focus on your inner self. So head to Leeds University Union this season and treat yourself to a relaxing experience by candlelight!
