We could have told you that, though, of course. Ranking favourably in a new survey conducted by Rate Good Roasts, Leeds’ Shear’s Yard landed a coveted spot in the ‘top ten’, showing that our region is truly superior when it comes to a proper Sunday dinner… But of course, we are the homeland of the Yorkie pud, after all.
Found in the cool The Calls area of the city centre, Shear’s Yard is one of Leeds’ hottest eateries – boasting cool, contemporary, industrial decor, with stunning gourmet dishes inspired by Europe.
Scoring a commendable 85% in the Rate Good Roasts scoring system, Shear’s Yard was praised for its top-quality meat offering, with the reviewers also hailing its decor, veggie selection, drinks and, of course, their 10/10 Yorkshire puddings. The only other Yorkshire venue to join them on the list was York’s Chopping Block, making Shear’s Yard the ‘best in Yorkshire’ according to Rate Good Roasts.
